Meet Our Pastor

Hi, I'm Ron Maxson. I came aboard to serve as pastor here at Adamstown Community Church in early 2008, on an interim basis. This church has a strong desire to focus on ministering and becoming a lighthouse within the communities in which they serve. I am excited, and honored, at the opportunity to be able to serve as we strive to increase the level of ministry to families, children, teens, and parents, as well as to other adults of all ages, single, married, divorced, etc. This church has a huge heart to help people. That excites me!

As an Evangelist, I have been highly involved in the community of Frederick County, Maryland. My family and I have resided in the Villages of Urbana since 2000, just a few miles outside of Adamstown. God has instilled within me a strong passion to help existing churches and ministries, support new church planting efforts, mission programs, outreach events, etc.

throughout Montgomery, Frederick and Washington counties, and beyond. Additionally, I serve as a volunteer Chaplain for the Law Enforcement Bureau of the Frederick County Sheriff's Office.
